The 15-story Summerhill hotel has a new owner and a new vision! Pellerin Real Estate took over Summerhill’s tallest building with plans to revamp this iconic property into a structure providing their community with what it needs most…affordable housing and communal commercial space.
The ambitious project includes 250 residential units, a little less than half of those being “micro-units”. Floor plans include studios, one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms and 4 penthouses. Micro-units are becoming increasing popular as the Atlanta real estate market continues the trend of increasing home prices and shrinking inventory.
Along with these apartments, the building will also house a 13,000 sqft food hall plus restaurant, co-working, swimming and fitness spaces. Outdoor dining and a 7,000 sqft music venue are in the works to serve as a gathering spot for the Summerhill community.
