Max Dupree is a native Tennessean who has established deep roots in Decatur Georgia. After earning a BA in Business Administration/Accounting from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tn, he obtained his CPA certificate and worked in the accounting industry for twenty-five years. Max has lived in Memphis and Nashville, TN, New Jersey, and came to rest in Decatur where he has lived for the last two decades.

Max and his husband Tom raised several beagle and dachshund babies and currently have a brood of three happy hairy kids. Interests include home improvement, fitness, dachshund rescue, cooking, and matching clients with their dream homes.

East Lake Terrace Neighborhood Association was founded by Max and his neighbor Amy when he moved into the neighborhood and discovered no association with which to volunteer. Through his work with the Association, Max met many East Lake residents, County Commissioners, and elected officials, and established a network of partners in the community to accomplish the Association’s goals. In addition, he often traveled all of the surface streets in and around East Atlanta and Decatur working for the Association which comes in quite handy for his real estate business.
