Keller Knapp Realty is proud to host the launch of Friends of the Atlanta Land Trust, a collective group of agents, brokers and real estate professionals committed to ensuring equitable and affordable housing in Atlanta. Keller Knapp Realty and Atlanta Land Trust encourage Atlanta real estate professionals to join us to learn more about how we can get involved in the effort to ensure affordable housing in our city.
Land trusts are put in place to ensure diversity within the housing market and provide housing options for populations that are often priced out of their neighborhoods. The Atlanta Land Trust is focused on these action items for areas primarily around the Beltline:
- Building a sizable portfolio of permanently affordable housing;
- Providing effective stewardship services for the resale-restricted, owner-occupied homes to be developed by ALT and others; and
- Creating a favorable environment for community land trust development by promoting public policy, community engagement and fundraising.
To celebrate the launch of the Friends of Atlanta Land Trust, Keller Knapp Realty, in conjunction with Atlanta Land Trust, will be hosting a panel discussion to explore the specific issues of the affordable housing crisis in Atlanta and how to get involved in the Friends of Atlanta Land Trust to become part of the solution. The launch is scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 10:30 am – 11:30 am at Druid Hills Golf Club.
